Melissa Tizon oversees internal and external communication for Providence, one of the nation’s largest health systems, with 51 hospitals and more than 1,000 clinics across the Western U.S. Prior to joining Providence in 2012, she led marketing and communications for Swedish Health Services in Seattle. She received her bachelor’s degree from Rockhurst University and studied journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
