Michelle DiTondo is a principal with Avion Consulting, a management consulting firm specializing in leadership, team, and organizational development. She has more than 25 years of experience in HR leadership, and spent nearly a decade as the Chief Human Resources Officer for MGM Resorts International, leading culture transformation and employee engagement initiatives for the company’s 88,000 employees. As a member of senior leadership, Michelle partnered with the C-Suite on company-wide strategies in both talent and business improvement, including a key restructuring and role definition initiative. She has been a trusted partner and advisor to the CEO, COO, CMO, and business unit presidents within MGM Resorts, as well as a credible executive for the company’s Board of Directors.
Prior to assuming the CHRO role, Michelle served as the Vice President of Human Resources at resort properties including at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, New York-New York Hotel & Casino, the Flamingo and Harrah’s Las Vegas. Before her time in the hospitality industry, she also provided organization effectiveness consulting for a number of global Fortune 100 Companies.
